Our Doctor and Staff
Orlando Matias D.O.

"I grew up in Gaylord, Michigan before graduating from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor with a B.S. in Biology.  I then graduated with a M.S. in Biology from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan which led to my attending medical school at the University of Health Sciences in Kansas City, Missouri.  I returned home to Michigan to complete my residency in Family Practice Medicine here in Lansing at Ingham Regional Medical Center.  I am now in my 17th year of practice.  Outside of work I am very busy with my wife and four children.  I have always enjoyed physical fitness and exercise has always been an important part of my personal and professional life.  My recreational passion is the game of golf and took it up at a young age."

Stacy

"I have been Dr. Matias’ full time receptionist since October 2016.  I graduated from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience and I am a proud alumnae of Delta Phi Epsilon International Sorority. I married my wonderful husband Zach in 2018 and we have two "children";  our beautiful daughter Kennedy who was born in September 2021 and our four-legged daughter Mille Mae.  I love quality time with my family - playing board games with my husband, singing with my daughter and going on walks with my dog.  My family and I enjoy taking trips all over Michigan and riding quads up north"

Linda

"I have enjoyed the past 17 years as the billing specialist for Dr. Matias.  I enjoy spending the rest of my time with my wonderful family including my two children and five grandchildren.  Whenever the weather permits you'll find me boating on Michigan's waters."

"I grew up in Rochester, Michigan, moved to E. Lansing to study nursing at Michigan State University and settled in the Lansing area where I met and married my husband of 23 years. I have over 25 years experience as a medical assistant working in mother/baby, pediatrics and family medicine. In my spare time I enjoy going to football games, cooking, exploring Michigan,  especially the upper peninsula, sitting by a bonfire with family and friends and spending time with my Old English Sheepdog,  Angel. Traveling the United States and visiting national parks is a passion of mine. I have been to all but 6 states and hope to someday visit them also."

Gigi

"I have worked for Dr. Matias for the last 18 years as his CFO and am now working as his office manager.  I graduated from the University of Michigan with an A.B. in Secondary Education, majoring in Social Science and a minor in Psychology, and taught high school before taking a full time position with Dr. Matias.  I am an avid reader and love spending Michigan summers with my family."

Our Practice

During the planning stages of opening our practice, we wanted to focus on the quality of the overall patient experience.  This approach has served as our guide in every decision-making process.  Our objective is to provide the highest quality of healthcare without sacrificing the personal experience that patients deserve.  We incorporated this into every detail, even down to the simple decision to have an actual person answer the phone during office hours instead of a machine.  The fact that we are small is to our advantage.  From the moment you enter the office until the time you check out, you will appreciate an atmosphere that lends to a more comfortable and intimate setting which revolves around you and your personal needs.  Although we attempt to recreate the experience of the doctor visits of old, for those of you who embrace the advances of modern technology, you will be excited to know that we are also fully capable with electronic health records, e-prescribing, and online portal access.  We have done our best to combine the best of everything to create a patient experience that is second to none.
